Commit to Change
This is a lifestyle change for you. You can’t purchase one product and think that you are going to make an impactful change in the support of your health. Sorry, but one product is not going to make that happen. I love the Young Living Premium Starter Kit with all of those wonderful essential oils, but if you keep filling your body with nasty ingredients throughout the day, those oils are only going to be able to keep up with cleaning out your toxic load for the day. They can’t make a more significant impact to your health and wellness because you keep pouring bad stuff into your body. The “magic” happens when you use the oils throughout your day and stop using all the synthetic chemicals in and on your body and around your home. You need to make a commitment to remove the toxic products in your home and steadily replace them along the way. That is a big first step for your journey.

Getting on Essential Rewards is an easy way to empower you, knowing that you have the best products available to use. It can be a bit overwhelming determining where to start- we have a lot of products to choose from! I’ve given you all the reasons for Essential Rewards in this link, but the guide below is where I am going to give you some suggestions in what to put in your monthly wellness box. Remember, you can go into your Virtual Office and change that order as many times as you want before your order is processed. Just make sure to save the changes each time, by hitting that “Save Monthly Order” button. I also want to stress that if you are trying to reach a certain PV level to get the free promotional products attached to that level, pay attention to your PV total, not the dollar amount. (see PV Assistant below) It usually is the same, but not always. Every month, people will leave free product on the table because they were mere pennies or a few dollars away from reaching the next PV level. Don’t do that to yourself! There is also peace-of-mind that from knowing that you don’t have to jump through hoops if you need to cancel your monthly wellness box. You just need to call customer service and cancel it, for whatever reason. You can start it back up when you want. I highly recommend getting yourself on Essential Rewards to make big changes to your lifestyle. It is so easy.
Where do I begin?
I’m going to break this down into sections. One side will have the 50 PV level required to be on Essential Rewards. The other section will have the 100 PV level required to hit the first tier of promotional products. 100PV is the minimum total required to get free product. Remember, you are NOT adding to your budget with this plan by purchasing from Young Living. You are simply and wisely choosing to buy your household needs from Young Living and not from other sources.
Getting on Essential Rewards means that you receive reward points (free money!) for buying products that you were already buying someplace else, along with the opportunity to receive free promotional product when you hit certain PV levels. When I go to a store, they don’t hand me free product for hitting a certain dollar level. I might get some reward points to use at a later date, but most likely not. If I do get points back it is never with the idea that I will be rewarded at a higher level the longer I shop with them. No one will say to me, “You have been shopping with us for three months now. Up to this point, you have been getting 10% back on your purchases. Congratulations, you will now get a higher percentage for your rewards.” I get a receipt and maybe a thank you. Young Living gives me free product and reward points, so yes, I am shopping with them. Give it a try and get on Essential Rewards.

May I just say, it is a lot of fun to get something for free! In addition to the Essential Reward points and the free promotional products earned, Young Living also sends you loyalty gifts when you stay on Essential Rewards. These products will be given to you after the 3, 6, 9, and 12 month intervals. Thereafter, you will receive a free product gift once a year.

Keep Moving Forward!
You might have been wondering why I put the Baby Wipes in there. You have been working toward cleaning out your Laundry area products. One of the worst toxic-overload offenders is your fabric softening dryer-sheets. Seedlings Baby Wipes are a great alternative to the standard dryer-sheets.
You did it. Three months on Essential rewards. In months 4-24, you will now receive 20% back in rewards points. They will begin to add up quickly. This is when you will find out if you are the type of person who spends them as soon as you earn them or if you are a saver. I’m half and half.
Month Four Have you figured this out? If you are in the various educational groups, and you really should be, you are getting a lot of ideas on the direction you wish to go with this plan. For further education, take a look at the book by Dr. Olivier Wenker. In his book, “A Doctor’s Guide to Essential Rewards”, Dr. Wenker helps you understand why this journey is so important to your wellness. He details the nuts and bolts of what the toxic chemicals are doing to your body and how you can replace harmful products with cleansing Young Living products. He will detail a plan of what and when to order for a 12 month period.

How do I subscribe to the Essential Rewards program?
You can subscribe in one of two easy ways:

If I want to cancel my subscription to the Essential Rewards program, can I do so online?
No. All Essential Rewards subscription cancellations must be over the phone with one of our helpful Member Services agents.
How many points do I earn for my Essential Rewards subscription order?
Is there a minimum PV for my monthly Essential Rewards subscription order?
Yes. Your monthly order in the U.S. must be at least 50 PV to qualify.
Can I change the items in my Essential Rewards subscription order and still receive all the benefits of the program?
Yes. You can change the items any time until 12 a.m. (midnight), MT, on your processing date, which is determined by you when you subscribe to the program.
How many points can I redeem each month?
You can redeem up to 375 points each month.
If I cancel my Essential Rewards subscription, do I lose my points?
If you cancel your subscription, you forfeit all unused Essential Rewards points. You must contact Member Services to cancel your subscription. Your monthly subscription to the program, if resumed, will accumulate points again at the 10 percent level.
Do I retain points earned for returned products?
No. You forfeit any points earned on products that you later return.
How do I redeem my points?
You can redeem your points online at checkout by selecting “Apply Points” or by contacting Member Services at 1.800.371.3515. More information on point redemption can be found by logging in to Virtual Office and viewing the ER tutorials.
How soon can I redeem points that I earn?
You earn points the minute your subscription order is shipped. You can redeem points any time after you have been subscribed to the program for two months.
When redeeming Essential Rewards points, do I go by the dollar amount or the PV amount in the price list?
When redeeming points, use the PV amount rather than the dollar value. For example, if you have 50 points, you can redeem them for any product with a PV value up to 50. Essential Rewards points can only be redeemed for products with full PV values. Not all products are eligible, and items purchased with Essential Rewards points are not returnable.
Do I need to place an order every month?
Yes. The Essential Rewards program offers rewards for shipments that process each month. Discounted shipping, earning loyalty gifts and rewards points, and maintaining higher rewards points percentages are contingent upon placing consecutive orders.
Can I use my points for promotional products such as discounted items?
You can buy any regularly available products at regular price as part of your Essential Rewards subscription order, but you will not receive the discounted pricing if the item is part of your Essential Rewards points order. Some promotional items may not be available for purchase at all using Essential Rewards points. Essential Rewards kits are not eligible, and some products are restricted for a time after they are released, such as products launched during our annual International Grand Convention. Contact Member Services at 1.800.371.3515 if you have questions about specific items.
Do my points expire?
Yes. Unused points expire on a 12-month rolling basis, meaning they expire 12 months from when they were earned.
