Notes:

These are approximate drops.  Adjust these recipes to your needs.  If the recipe is too strong for you, add fewer drops.  Do you need more?  Just add more, but no more than 8-12 drops for all of our diffusers with the exception of the Aria diffuser which requires 15-25 drops.

Tip:  When you first begin diffusing, start with less and then build to more if desired.

Wooly Ball Laundry Boost

Wooly balls are a great way to cut down the drying time and the amount of heat you will need to dry your clothes. For my dryer, I use 3 balls, but see what works best for you.  I will use 3-4 drops of essential oil per ball. I usually get 4-5 loads out of each set of three essential oil-scented balls.

Add Citrus Fresh to your wooly-balls when drying your laundry.  Citrus Fresh and Joy make a lovely combo.  Would you like some more combinations?  The combinations below are beautiful, refreshing scents for your laundry. You will never miss using those nasty, toxic dryer sheets.  There have been many studies done on how harmful traditional laundry soap and dryer sheets are to you and your environment.  You will want to take a look at different articles related to this.

Spiced Sugar Autumn Scrub

Enjoy using this delightful, fall fragrant, scrub in your shower. What a great
way to wake up your senses in the morning, just be careful in there, scrubs
can make the shower floor slippery. Dependent on the size jars you use, you
should have enough to keep one for yourself and give a gift to a friend or
two.

Supplies

• 2.5 cups Turbinado Sugar
• 8 oz. Sweet Almond Oil
• 15 drops Citrus Fresh™
• 15 drops Christmas Spirit™
• Jars to put mixture into

Directions

1. Combine almond oil (save a little almond oil to top each jar with later) and sugar together in a glass bowl, mixing until the sugar is the consistency of wet sand.
2. Add essential oils and mix well,
3. Divide sugar scrub into wide mouth jars.
4. Top each jar with additional almond oil.
5. Apply lid. Add label if desired.

Citrus Fresh Reed Diffuser

Supplies

• Glass jar with a narrow opening
• 4-6 reed diffuser sticks or bamboo skewers
• 1/4 cup of sweet almond oil
• 15-20 drops Citrus Fresh essential oil blend
• Splash of vodka, between 1 tsp and 1 tblsp depending on the size of jar and the ratio of carrier oil to vodka.  (unscented witch hazel may also be used) This will help with the absorption of the oils on the reeds.

Directions

1. Pour carrier oil and vodka into the glass jar. You will want 1-2 inches in the bottom, so
   adjust your sweet almond oil and vodka to fit the jar that you have chosen.
2. Add 15-20 drops, again adjusting to your bottle size; more drops will create
   a stronger fragrance. Gently swirl the to ingredients together.
3. Add your reed diffuser or bamboo sticks to the oil. Flipping them around
   after a couple of days will help them absorb the oil faster.

On-the-Go Air Freshener

Take this with you wherever you go to freshen up your car, hotel room or anywhere where you need to chase the orders away. Makes a cute gift too!

Supplies

• 2 oz glass spray bottle with cap
• Witch Hazel-alcohol, fragrance-free
• Distilled Water
• Citrus Fresh essential oil

Directions

1. Add a splash of witch hazel to the bottom of your bottle.
2. Just about fill the rest of the bottle with distilled water.
3. Add 10-15 drops of Citrus Fresh.
4. Apply top to the bottle and gently swirl the mixture together.

Citrus Sugar Scrub

Here is an uplifting hand or body scrub to make for yourself or give as a gift.

Supplies:

• 1/2 cup Raw sugar
• 1/4 cup of Virgin cold pressed Coconut oil
• Citrus Fresh – 5 drops
• 4 oz Glass Mason Jar

Optional-wooden spoon, gift tag, ribbon

Directions:

1. Place the sugar, Coconut oil, and Citrus Fresh Essential Oil in a glass bowl. Mix well.
2. Place the mixture in glass jar.
   Optional- add ribbon, gift tag and wooden spoon to give as a special gift.
